You will be joining the Engineering team which comprises of frontend and backend engineers and QA. Your main role will be to take full responsibility as a stand alone DevOps engineer to maintain, improve, automate and troubleshoot the systems that run the application and development process of the team. It's a opportunity to deepen your AWS, CI/CD and IaC skills. We are looking for someone who has a real interest in learning new technologies and looking at ways to improve performance.
The role:
- As a stand alone DevOps professional you will focus on designing, deploying and maintaining the AWS infrastructure and services to support the development, testing and production environments
- Implement and manage the CI/CD pipelines to enable a more streamlined software delivery process
- Work closely with the wider engineering team to ensure that software is delivered with a focus on high quality and at speed
- Monitor and troubleshoot any production issues to ensure the availability, reliability and ongoing scalability of the application
- Implement and maintain security best practices to protect the AWS environment
What are we looking for?
- Experience working with cloud engineering technology with a focus on AWS, - Azure and GCP a bonus
- Experience of creating and maintaining infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform
- A strong desire to fix things and solve problems
- Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong scripting language - at least one
- AWS experience with AWS multi accounts, IAM policies, security groups - bonus skills
- Experience in applying or enabling containers and container orchestration such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
- Monitoring and logging tools such as Cloudwatch, Prometheus - bonus skills
