Senior Software Engineer

New York/Chicago/Detroit

Base to $250k depending upon experience

Our consulting client was co-founded by Google Cloud Engineering leaders and is backed by a leading US investment firm. With a focus on GCP strategy and implementation, they work with brand name FTSE 100 clients. 

Due to a brand new client win in the Financial Services sector, we are now looking for someone to join a growing team focused on building Generative AI applications for document summarization, classification, question and answering using unstructured data. The team works with companies of all sizes from startups to Fortune 100. You will develop applications on Google Cloud, work with customers to understand their requirements, suggest new ideas and features to the team to further improve the product and implement the new functionalities with a passion for quality.

• Hands-on experience
• Design, architecture, implementation and deployment of cloud native applications
• Python
• Shell scripting
• Git-based workflows
• Application development for GCP (gcloud SDK, common GCP services)

The ideal candidate will also have experience in one or more of the following:

• GCP Vertex AI, Cloud run, GK, Firestore, GCS or other GCP services
• Large Language Model development stack (Langchain, LlamaIndex, Google PaLM, Open AI GPT API etc)
• CI/CD automation and orchestration (Jenkis, Cloud Build, Spinnaker)
• Infrastructure actuation /automation (Terraform, Ansible)
• Public Cloud - GCP first and foremost.
