Android Engineer

US -remote

Base to $220k depending upon experience

Our consulting client was co-founded by Google Cloud Engineering leaders and is backed by a leading US investment firm. With a focus on GCP strategy and implementation, they work with brand name FTSE 100 clients. 

Due to a brand new client win in the Financial Services sector, we are now looking for someone to join a growing team focused on building Generative AI applications for document summarization, classification, question and answering using unstructured data. The team works with companies of all sizes from startups to Fortune 100. You will develop applications on Google Cloud, work with customers to understand their requirements, suggest new ideas and features to the team to further improve the product and implement the new functionalities with a passion for quality.

We are looking for hands-on IC experience with design, implementation, deployment of Android applications. More specifically:

• Android Studio
• Firebase Android SDK
• Kotlin or Java
• Android Camera API
• Also experience in one or more of the following
  • Deployment of ML models on Android (TFLite Converter or similar)
  • MLOps
  • Machine Learning for Computer Vision
  • Python
  • Shell scripting
  • GCP
