Machine Learning Engineer

US -remote

Base to $250k depending upon experience

Our consulting client was co-founded by Google Cloud Engineering leaders and is backed by a leading US investment firm. With a focus on GCP strategy and implementation, they work with brand name FTSE 100 clients. 

Due to a brand new client win in the Financial Services sector, we are now looking for someone to join a growing team focused on building Generative AI applications for document summarization, classification, question and answering using unstructured data. The team works with companies of all sizes from startups to Fortune 100. You will develop applications on Google Cloud, work with customers to understand their requirements, suggest new ideas and features to the team to further improve the product and implement the new functionalities with a passion for quality.

We are looking for hands-on IC experience with design and implementation of ML models and applications. More specifically:

• Machine Learning for computer vision (ML frameworks, neural net models development, training, tuning, serving)
• Google Cloud Vertex AI (AutoML, Pipelines, AI APIs)
• Python programming
• MLOps (ideally on GCP)
• In addition it would be ideal to have one or more of the following:
  • NLP multi-modal models
  • Deployment of models on Android (TFLite Converter or similar)
  • Shell scripting
  • Data engineering
  • Generative AI (Google PaLM, Open AI GPT, LLaMA, Langchain, LLamaIndex or similar, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases and LLM model fine tuning)
